ACUPUNCTURE

DC Chiropractic Provides Acupuncture in Markham

Did you know that there are multiple types of acupuncture? It is important that you understand the differences before you decide to book yourself in for an appointment.

Acupuncture therapy can be done from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approach or a contemporary medical approach.

TCM involves correcting disharmony in the body and has vast applications. This type of acupuncture is often used for hormone regulation, fertility, and other pregnancy concerns, stress, insomnia, acne, neuropathy, digestive issues, and difficulties with respiration.

Contemporary medical acupuncture, often called contemporary medical acupuncture is used for musculoskeletal pain and/or sports rehabilitation. This technique involves the application of a stimulation unit to the acupuncture needles to improve blood flow to the injured area, decrease muscle pain and tightness, and help with lymphatic drainage.

See What Our Patients Have to Say About Us

I went to see Daniel for a chronic wrist injury to my dominant hand. I am so glad he decided to open up a practice in Markham. Through a combination of massage, acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, rehab exercises, and a wonderfully caring and attentive manner, he restored functionality, erased pain, and returned me to a fully-functioning state. I am delighted with the results. I highly recommend him if you’re looking to feel well. You are in great hands with Dr. Corallo.

I have had the pleasure of being treated by both Daniel and Allyshia and I have to say, they are miracle workers! I know this sounds like a cliche, but I suffer from an abundant of back issues and when I call either of them, both have always jumped to my rescue. They are both so knowledgeable and their advice on pain management and prevention have worked wonders. Daniel and Allyshia, you both will be my health care providers in the area of acupuncture and chiropractic for the rest of my life. For those of you looking, look no further because these two are both the healers you are looking for! ❤️
